Lumev is a mobile application that allows you to easily create short videos from your images using our three preset templates: Daily Life, Work & Study, and Travel & Relaxation. Our core goal is to lower the threshold of short video creation, enabling you to turn your photos into high-quality videos without professional editing skills by selecting the appropriate template. Importantly, you can use all features of Lumev without registering an account, logging in, or providing any personal identification information beyond the necessary permissions required to use the App’s core functions. We respect your privacy wholeheartedly and are dedicated to ensuring that your data is handled securely and transparently, with a core and unwavering focus on never collecting any form of facial information or facial features, and never retaining or sharing any of your personal information.
Lumev has a strict, non-negotiable policy of not collecting, storing, processing, or accessing any facial information, facial features, or biometric data related to your face. This is a foundational privacy commitment of our App, and we emphasize this unequivocally: we do not collect any images, data, or information that can identify or recognize your face, whether intentionally or unintentionally. You will never be asked to provide facial information to use Lumev, and our App does not include any features that scan, detect, analyze, or store facial features in any way.
Specifically, we do not collect: any photos or videos that contain facial images (unless you voluntarily import such images from your device’s album for the sole purpose of creating your own videos via our three preset templates—Daily Life, Work & Study, Travel & Relaxation—and even then, we do not extract, store, or process any facial features from those images); any biometric data related to your face, such as facial recognition data, facial landmarks, or facial patterns; any information that can be used to identify your face or link to your facial characteristics; or any data from your device’s camera that is used to capture facial information. Beyond facial information, Lumev does not collect any personal data, identifiers, or sensitive information of any kind from you or your device, and we will never initiate the collection of such data under any circumstances.
We fully understand the critical importance of protecting your facial privacy, and we have designed Lumev to ensure that no facial information is ever collected, processed, retained, or shared by the App. Your facial data, personal data, and all private content remain entirely under your control at all times, with zero unauthorized access or usage by the App.
Any images you voluntarily upload or import into Lumev are only used for the sole purpose of generating your custom short video via our three preset templates (Daily Life, Work & Study, Travel & Relaxation), and this is the only intended use of your imported content. Once the video generation process is completed, all temporary image files and related data used for creation are immediately and permanently deleted from the App’s local cache; we do not store, back up, or retain any of your imported images or generated video content on our servers or the App’s local storage for any length of time.
We take the security of your information extremely seriously and have implemented robust, industry-standard measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. You maintain full and exclusive control over your content: you can choose to save the generated video to your device at your own discretion, delete any saved content at any time, and revoke the App’s necessary permissions (e.g., access to your album) through your device’s settings at any time, which will fully restrict Lumev from accessing any additional content from your device.
Lumev strictly prohibits sharing, transferring, or disclosing any user content, personal information, facial information, or facial features to any third parties, and this rule applies to all scenarios without exception. Lumev may only use a minimal number of fully vetted third-party services to optimize basic App performance, such as anonymous crash analytics that collect zero personal data, facial data, or identifiable information.
These third-party services are prohibited from collecting any facial information, facial features, personal identification data, or sensitive user content, and we only share completely anonymous, non-identifiable, non-personal data with such services (if required). None of the third-party services used by Lumev have access to your facial information, imported images, or any private content, as we never collect or store such data in the first place, and we enforce strict privacy restrictions on all third-party partners to protect your rights.
